You tell us the basics
Postcode, what you need quoted, when your contract ends and roughly what you spend. Two minutes on the form or a phone call.
A broker compares the market
We pass your details to an independent UK business energy broker, who gets prices from the suppliers that serve your meter type and size. We tell you which broker on the first call.
You decide
You get the quotes in writing, with the unit rates, standing charges, contract length and what the broker and CapExpand Energy are paid. Nothing switches until you sign.
What to have ready
A recent bill answers most of it: your supplier, the contract end date, your MPAN (electricity) or MPRN (gas) and your annual usage in kWh. If you do not have a bill to hand, the postcode and a rough annual spend are enough to start, and the broker takes the meter details from you on the call.
Who we are
CapExpand Energy is a trading style of CapExpand Ltd, a Nottinghamshire company run by Alex Beardsley. The energy service is new and small: we take the enquiry, pass it to a broker we have chosen, and stay on the call so you have one person to ask. We do not hold a contract with any supplier and we do not switch anything ourselves.
